Literature Text

[Verse 1]
I am waiting for a sincere apology to form
Inside my head
Laying on the bandwagon with my arms wide open
Stretched end to end
There's something rude and hidden
Buried inside what
I have said
If I had realized
When I had thought it
I wouldn't have let that message send

[Chorus]
I'll have you know that if I could go back
And say something else
That I would
And I'd say sorry a million more times
If it would do any good

[verse 2]
There's someone far away on the other side
Who wants to hold your hand
Maybe
If I had someone far away
Reaching out to me
I'd know what to do
I try my best to comprehend
How it feels
Sometimes I don't understand
And when I finally have that one
Reaching out
I'll know what to do

But for now... I'm sorry

[Chorus]
I'll have you know that if I could go back
And say something else
That I would
And I'd say sorry a million more times
If it would do any good

[Verse 3]
I picked this song
To put on your album
And remind you of my flaws
No ones lives their life
With no apologies
At all

[Chorus]
I'll have you know that if I could go back
And say something else
That I would
And I'd say sorry a million more times
If it would do any good
A song inspired by "Thanksgiving" by Deb Talon. It's just me apologizing to my friend about something I said about their boyfriend over text that I shouldn't have. Just another one of my works portraying the phrase "Sorry does no good" or "catches no prey" or "un-does what you did" How ever you wanna say it.
-------
Oh yeah, for the part where it says "lying on a bandwagon" bandwagon is a form of propaganda that means everyone's doing it so you should do it too. Who isn't trying to apologize for one thing or another one?

And the line about being on an album, this is one of a few songs I am working on to put on an entire album (well probably EP but who cares) for my friend.

I love how you (portray?) your feelings into your art, it means that you actually care about what your saying, especially if you went through the trouble of making a song just to say "sorry", well done :D
